Why It’s Okay to Take Us for Granted
Have a favorite TV show? Someone wrote that show.
Have you laughed at a funny billboard? Someone wrote that quip.
Have the lyrics to a pop song been stuck in your head? Someone wrote that rhyme.
Log into a favorite news or humor site daily? Someone works behind the scenes to make sure that you always have something new.
For nearly every successful venture, there is out there somewhere a writer working behind the scenes to make sure that you don’t miss out. He writes scripts, songs, articles, advertisements, and children’s stories. He agonizes over word choice and struggles with comma placement, laboring to produce something that you can run your eyes over within a matter of seconds.
And yet you rarely think of him.
You think instead of the artist performing the song, the political figure featured in the article, and the actor delivering the lines. But don’t feel badly. This is what the writer wants: in fact, it’s what he’s paid for! Not that he wouldn’t mind a little appreciation now and then, but that is not necessarily the goal. The work is the goal.
“Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!” is his battle cry.
We take a similar stance on Web Development. We don’t see our work as a way to promote ourselves, but as a way to promote you. When existing or potential clients log on, we want them to be impressed with the smooth, contemporary feel of your site, of course, but not so that we can get any glory.
Our end goal is to produce a website that will help you to inform, serve, and just generally wow the world.
If you think we would be a good fit, feel free to contact us. We look forward to working together with you.
